Information For Authors

Authors need to register with the journal web site prior to submitting, or if already registered, you can simply log in and begin the 5 step process. Before submitting you should check the manuscript preparation guideline provided below, and you should also review the copyright notice. For submission final version, please follow the instruction in the section Submitting Final Version of Accepted Paper.
Introduction
All manuscripts submitted will undergo a thorough refereeing process prior to acceptance. Authors may be requested to revise their paper, and the Editor reserves the right to refuse a paper for publication. All manuscript should be written in clear and concise English, and should normally be approximately 8000 words in length.

Manuscripts should be prepared in a common software format to help the typesetting when accepted. PDF is the preferred format for initial submission of manuscript on this online system. IJCSSE do NOT require extensive formatting work to be carried out by authors, all accepted papers will be professionally typeset by the publisher for final publications. The following information is provided as a general guideline for preparation of your submission.
Paper Structure
Follow this order for structuring of the manuscripts:
  1. Title, Authors, Affiliations, Email
  2. Abstract – A self-contained abstract of approximately 100 – 150 words, outlining in a single paragraph the aims, scope and conclusions of the paper.
  3. Keywords &ndas;h A list of 3 - 8 keywords, avoid using words such as ‘and‘, ‘of‘, etc. Be sparing with abbreviations, only abbreviations firmly established in the field should be used.
  4. Main Text – Suitably divided under decimally numbered headings. Any illustrations and tables should be included in the main text where appropriate with captions.
  5. Acknowledgements – Collate acknowledgements should be in a separate section at the end of the article and do not include them on the title page, as a footnote to the title or otherwise.
  6. References – Please see the Reference section below.
  7. Appendix
Subdivide your paper in the simplest way possible, consistent with clarity, each section should be suitably divided under decimally numbered headings. The text should usually follow the standard sequence of introduction, background, method, results and discussion. Headings and subheadings for different sections of the paper should be clearly indicated. Ensure that all figures and tables are mentioned in the text and that all references are cited in number order. This online system allows the upload of optional supplement files if it is required.
Graphic, Figures, and Tables
Tables and Figures should be numbered consecutively throughout the paper, referring to them in the text as Table 1, Figure 3, etc. Results should not be presented in both tabular and graphical forms. The minimum of descriptive text should be used on figures with essential information relegated to the figure caption. Graph axes should have the variables labelled in full, with the abbreviation in parentheses. Scale grids should not be used in graphs unless necessary for actual measurements.

Author's originals will be used for final typesetting, so the quality of the author's figures will be reflected in the quality of the typeset paper. Authors must provide good quality graphic for preparation of accepted publication (Note that embedded graphics in a Word file is not in acceptable quality for final publication). Illustration or figure in vector graphic format should use the EPS file format. Otherwise, TIF, JPG, or PNG should be used, they must have a resolution of at least 300dpi, and are at least 8cm in width. (i.e. your image need to be at least 945 pixel in width).
Reference
All publications cited in the text should be presented in a list of references following the text of the manuscript. References should be complete as far as possible, including the year of publication, the publisher and their location, full article, book and conference titles, full list of authors and their initials, and page numbers where appropriate. Indicate references by number(s) in square brackets (e.g. [1, 4, 6]) in line with the text. The actual authors can be referred to, but the reference number(s) must always be given. Present used references numbered in the references section in the order in which they appear in the text. Note that for publication with more than 4 authors; the first 4 should be listed followed by 'et al.'

Text Layout
The submission file should be in PDF format (this is the preferred format for the initial online submission), or otherwise MS Word, or RTF format.
  • Page &ndash A4 size, number all pages consecutively.
  • Font &ndash 11 or 10 pt font size and standard fonts (e.g Times New Roman).
  • Spacing &ndash Single, or 1.5.
  • Margin &ndash 2.4 cm top/bottom, 3 cm left/right.
Submitting Final Version of Accepted Paper
Author should submit their final version of manuscript via this online submission system. Please follow each of the following steps to proceed.
  1. To submitted the revised or final version of your manuscript, log in to IJCSSE. If you do not know or forgot your username and password, you can request to retrieve your password, and a new password will be email to you. If you cannot recall your email address you have provided to us, please contact our system support. Please provide sufficient details to help us retrieve your record.
  2. Once login to the online system, proceed by clicking the link labelled 'Author' under the 'User Home' section.
  3. Under your 'Active Submissions', you should see a list of your current submission in the system. Click on the "Accepted" link which should appear on the right hand side of a paper that has been accepted. This will take you to the detail page of your accepted paper.
  4. At the bottom of this page, you should see the section 'Revised/Final Version Upload'. Use the 'Browse...' button and select the file that you want to submit, then click on the 'Upload' button to upload the file to the system. Once a file has been successfully upload, you should be able to see it listed in 'Author Version' in the section just above 'Revised/Final Version Upload'. There is a date next to each of the file that has been uploaded. You can remove any uploaded file by clicking on the 'Delete' link (e.g. if you uploaded the wrong file).
  5. You can submit multiple items with this, and you must submit the following three items for your final version paper, submit each item one-by-one.
    • Manuscript – the manuscript in PDF format.
    • Source file – preferably a zipped file, make sure this contain all your source files, and they are in the acceptable format. Fail to provide these items will result in the delay of processing for your paper.
    • Submission details – a plain text file that must contain the paper title, author’s details and the abstract.
  6. Once you have completed the above process, please click on the Mailicon icon for 'Notify Editor' to let us know you submitted your files. Otherwise send a email to ijcsse.tharam@gmail.com. The subject of the email must be 'IJCSSE Final_Version - #<Paper_ID>'. Please include the list of files and a brief description for each in your message. Your should also make sure the 'Submission Metadata' is correct on the 'Summary' page. These information are important for you as they will be used in the final version and the online TOC, incorrect details may resulted in your paper not reference porperly by other readers and authors.
Proofs
Correspondence and proofs for checking will be sent to the first named author or the nominated principal contact; this can be selected during the online submission process. Proofs are sent via email in PDF format, and corrections should be returned within two weeks to the publisher. Only type setting changes can be accepted from authors at proof checking stage. Should comment for proofs not be returned within two weeks, it will be assumed that there are no corrections.
Offprint and Reprints
Offprint can be ordered from CRL Publishing (minimum order 100). Offprint must be ordered when returning corrected paper proofs. Details are sent to authors with their proofs for correction; along with a Copyright Transfer form that also need to be return before publication.
